Manhattan, NY, July 21st, 2010 – The Masters Of Beauty (MOB) program debuted the first two-day Tour of Beauty in Manhattan with nearly 150 attendees, including Empire Education Group educators and students, and professional stylists on July 18th and 19th.
Attendees were treated to personal one-on-one instruction from Nick Arrojo, himself, and his team of Master Stylists, as they learned Nick’s legendary and signature techniques for Haircutting with Razor and Scissor, Consumer Hair Coloring and Color Placement, Style Finishing, and Make-Up Artistry.
“I thought the first Masters of Beauty event, held here in my hometown, New York, was a stunning success, and a great weekend for all concerned. We believe education and inspiration is the best route to growth for hairdressers, and to connect that culture to professionals like us, nurture those who want to achieve excellence and integrity in all elements of the craft, was a truly rewarding experience for my team and I,” noted Arrojo.
Arrojo and his team assisted attendees during the training workshops as they clipped, styled and colored their mannequins using Arrojo’s distinguished trends. Attendees also enjoyed the inspirational advice and tips as Arrojo spoke to them about establishing and maintaining good client relationships, marketing their skills and encouraging them to set their own bar of creativity to new heights.
“Empire and ARROJO are working together to make a stronger, more dynamic industry, and here in the Big Apple, we got off to a terrific start. Personally, what I found most inspirational was the opportunity to reach out and touch so many great stylists with my insights, inspirations, and experiences; having such a positive impact was incredibly gratifying, and a lot of fun,” added Arrojo.
Arrojo and his team of Stylists will continue the MOB training workshops and skill certification classes throughout 2011. The MOB program was designed and created by Arrojo and Empire to offer students, educators, alumni, and professional stylists advanced education. Participants also have the ability to earn the three levels of Seals, Advanced, Senior and Master, throughout the program to distinguish their level of skill.
