Pottsville, PA, March 1st, 2010 – The previously owned Regis Corporation Hair Design Schools, located in Kentucky, have officially adapted to the Empire Beauty Schools brand and curriculum. The six schools have transitioned to Empire’s Certified Learning in Cosmetology (CLiC) curriculum, which also incorporates digital teaching methods such as Whiteboard and Nxtbook technology to enhance the students’ overall cosmetology education.
The newly re-branded schools are accredited by The National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, Inc. (NACCAS) and licensed in the state of Kentucky. Each school is also approved by the U.S. Department of Education and eligible through Empire Education Group to offer Title IV Financial Aid Programs. The six newly named Empire Beauty Schools are located in Louisville, Florence and Elizabethtown and join Empire’s 94 schools in 20 states. The schools were formerly part of the school division of the Regis Corporation, which was acquired in the 2007 merger between Empire Education Group and Regis.
