The Jackson, Tennessee, Hair Design School welcomed mothers to their Celebrating Mom open house recently. The school offered welcomed guests refreshments such as tea, coffee, sandwich rollups, and cupcakes. Guests were also treated to free beauty services from the experienced students.
The school also invited their locally adopted domestic abuse shelter, WRAP or Women’s Resource & Rape Assistance, to come to the event. The students and staff present a representative from the school a donation in the amount of $500. The shelter representative spoke to the students and thanked them for their efforts in raising the donation.
The students also participated in their pre-trials for Empire Education Group’s Future Professionals Expo. The competing students had to explain what their motivation was on their hair designs and were hopeful to learn who won the pre-trial event. Every student brought their best creations to the table as on-lookers took in the amazement of each carefully crafted style and design.
The school also welcomed new and enrolling students during the open house event.
