Warm weather is finally, here – and that means you won’t need to run from the house to the car to wherever you’re going. This also means your hair will probably experience a great deal more humidity than it has in months! Luckily, these warm weather hair tips will get you through the rest of the beautiful months.
Humidity can make your hair big – really big in some cases. And, while you want the volume, you don’t always want to be OTT. Try drying just the roots of your hair, letting the rest fall where it may, while using professional products to hold in the natural curls and kinks.
Not everyone, but a lot of people’s hair goes a bit curly with the humidity. There’s no point in running away from the curl when you can just embrace it. Work some extra curl into your hair when it wants to play along; it’s a lot easier this time of the year.
Center parts look intentional during the summer. If your roots are a little worse for wear, use the tips of a fine comb to create a slight zigzag in the middle, and contact your stylist for some highlights.
If your ends are out of control this time of the year, run a little product through them. Everyone’s hair is different, so ask your stylist what he/she recommends.
When your hair really doesn’t want to play along, turn to half-up, half-down styles. You’ll get the best of the volume and the waves without looking too unkempt. You’ll see; it’s a breeze this time of year.
