No matter what season it is, we take our hair cues from what we see on the runway, in movies, and on the red carpets. Of course, you should always choose a style that suits your personality and lifestyle, but these are the style trends you can expect to see a lot of this winter.
This season’s waves are gentle and flowing. Use big curlers or wide barrel irons and a light setting spray to create gentle waves.
The low ponytail and nape-hugging bun are both in. And, if you can embellish these in any way or deconstruct your bun, you’ll score extra points.
Yep, it’s back. While the center part can appear rather severe with tight curls or super sleek hair, it’s back for the year…. and it looks incredible with those gentle waves and curls.
The alternative to the middle part is a deep side part. This style looks terrific with super straight hair, but you will need to consider how ti keep the style.
Yep, the straight iron is making an appearance this year. Indeed, this is one of the few key looks that don’t feel completely natural this season. Remember, straight hair looks best on healthy hair, and you may need a trim to pull this off.
Put half of your hair up and let the rest hang loose and you’re definitely on trend this season. How high you keep the top is totally up to you; it can cut just about your ears or be as high as possible.
Finally, you can put all of your hair up, though this year’s trend is to wear it high (or very low) if you’re going to pull all your hair back. Put it up Breakfast at Tiffany’s-style or flatten it slightly as you can see here.
