There are several factors that will decide how long your beauty school program will be. It is important to remember that attendance matters in this program. To complete our program and graduate, you must meet the minimum amount of training hours for your state. These range from 1000-1600 hours depending on which state you are located in. At select locations, we offer both full-time and part-time programs. If you decide to enroll in a part-time program, you will be in school for twice the amount of time. On average, our students complete their program between one and two years.
At Empire Beauty School, we train our future professionals for a variety of career paths as a cosmetologist. Throughout your program, you will have the opportunity to network with salons and businesses while also having business training.

The first step is to enroll in a state-licensed cosmetology school, Empire Beauty School. To enroll, you must meet the minimum age requirement and have a high school diploma or GED. Once enrolled, complete your program and training hours that will prepare you for the state licensing exam. When you graduate from your program, you are able to take the state licensing exam.
