“The students absolutely loved the experience, they all commented on how great it made them feel to make the day of so many people,” noted Executive Director Hillary Hanlon.

The residents were so grateful for the manicure treatments that the school decided to return every six weeks.  One resident, and former NYC Rockette, was so excited after her manicure that she “danced” in her wheelchair for the students.

“At the end of the day, the students reflected on the opportunities that lie ahead of them as they transition to the Student Salon.  For many of them, it became reality in helping others feel amazing about themselves.  We look forward to taking our next group of students to St. Barnabas!” added Hanlon.
