Empire Celebrates National Day of Beauty 2023
Empire Beauty School’s National Day of Beauty Event is set to take place on Thursday, November 16th, 2023. During this event, all 76 of their school locations will open their doors to welcome individuals of all ages – women, men, and children alike – for a day focused on revitalization and self-pampering.
Services offered on this special day range from haircuts to coloring, nail treatments, and much more. All proceeds earned from these student salon services will be generously donated to support local anti-domestic violence programs and shelters. These vital contributions play a crucial role in helping these programs and shelters provide safe havens, support, and resources to survivors of domestic violence, fostering a brighter and more secure future for those who need it most.
Last year’s event was a resounding success, resulting in a system-wide donation of $57,000 to over 76 programs and shelters dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence.
But the giving spirit doesn’t stop there. Throughout the entire month of November, Empire Beauty School students will be selling $1 donation cards, inviting everyone to join in their commitment to making a difference.
At Empire Beauty School, there’s more to the story than just beauty education. Their students are trained to be the first line of defense in the battle against domestic violence. Through specialized training programs, these future beauty professionals are equipped to recognize signs of abuse and provide assistance. In cases where help is needed, they ensure individuals have access to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, which can be reached at 1-800-799-7233. In addition, they encourage everyone to seek further information and support from the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence website at www.thehotline.org.
In a world where every act of kindness matters, Empire Beauty School is leading the charge, one haircut, and nail service at a time, toward creating a safer and more caring community for those affected by domestic violence.
