2011 Summer’s Hottest Trends

Braids and Waves are this year’s newest beauty hair trends for 2011.

Weather you are going to the beach, laying poolside, getting married or even just going out for an evening- braided Hairstyles seems to be growing ever so popular this year, especially in Hollywood.

There are so many versatile ways and techniques to braid your hair that can fit any occasion.

Off to the side – for a more stylish but sexy look.  To pull this style off you need to keep it tousled and loose, you may need to even tease the hair a bit before begining the braid for a better hold.Side Braids

Half-updo braided hair – this is a simple easy way to wear your hair for a prom, or even just a casual event.  This also works really well when you want to get your hair out of your face and you don’t have a headband- just braid across the top and there you go.

Beachy wave hair is one of the other hot trends for this summer. This is also a versatile look that can be worn day or evening.

If you are not lucky enough to already have the natural texture to you hair there are easy ways to achieve this look.  Simply, just braid damp hair. Once the hair is dry take the braid out and tousle the hair and there you go. Or just section the hair and use a large barrel curling iron on each of the sections to give it a wavy look.
